Persistent AI projects, tools and continuity.

Project Master is an independently developed AI productivity and orchestration platform designed to keep project state, tools, execution and recovery under user control while integrating with modern AI services.

About Project Master

Project Master provides a governed foundation for long-running AI projects that need durable state, controlled tool access, recovery, and continuity beyond a single conversation.

The platform is currently a private, self-hosted project. Its core services run on user-controlled infrastructure and coordinate persistent project state, AI interactions, tools, files, execution, checkpoints and recovery.

Project Master is intended to complement AI services rather than replace them. The system keeps local project orchestration and persistence separate from model inference, allowing each layer to be independently managed and verified.

Core capabilities

The architecture is designed around persistence, controlled execution and reliable project continuity.

Persistent projects

Important project state, plans, checkpoints and decisions can survive individual conversations or sessions.

Governed tools

MCP and other tool integrations can be exposed through explicit permission, verification and audit boundaries.

Continuity and recovery

Project state can be reconstructed from durable records without depending entirely on one conversation or client session.

Self-hosted infrastructure

Core orchestration, persistence and supporting services are designed to run on infrastructure controlled by the user.

Controlled execution

Project Master can coordinate tools and host operations while preserving project boundaries, state verification and recovery.

Project-scoped documents

The planned artifact layer associates files and generated documents with the correct project, task and conversation context.

Planned Thin Client

A dedicated interface is planned to provide a simpler user experience while Project Master handles continuity and orchestration behind the scenes.

The Thin Client is intended to present stable logical projects and conversations while allowing the underlying AI session to change when necessary. This can support long-running conversations, controlled rollover, recovery and project-specific tools without requiring the user to manage implementation details manually.

Projects and persistent conversations User-facing project and conversation identities remain stable even when underlying sessions are rotated or recovered.
Sign in with ChatGPT Project Master is exploring supported Sign in with ChatGPT integration for authentication and, where available and permitted, eligible ChatGPT plan use for user-initiated AI requests.
User-controlled state Project state, tools and supporting infrastructure remain governed by Project Master rather than relying on a single conversation as the authoritative record.
